Our island and harbor tours are a fantastic way to spend your time out on the water. We offer this private charter because it is a better option than being on a larger more public passenger vessel.

Chartering this comfortable Downeast boat offers you more of a private excursion and will be more beneficial and rewarding to the passengers. There are also many other benefits of booking one of our tours, such as more one on one interactions with the captain and mate and the fact that it’s your boat for your charter, not anyone else’s. With that said, you can tell us what you want to see, what you want to do and where you want to go!
Our captain and mate are up to date and very familiar with the areas and history of different local attractions. We strongly believe that we can give you better views and get you in closer to better scenic nautical locations than any other tour option!
We have the option of letting you off to explore the Isles of Shoals, NH. We also have the option to dock at Wood Island in Portsmouth Harbor and let you off to explore the original and historic Life Saving Station!

Deposit Fees, Gratuity & Cancellations
- All trips require a deposit at the time of booking to reserve the day and time of your charter. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within two weeks of the planned trip.
- If you cancel your trip two weeks before your booked charter date, your deposit will be refunded in full
- In the case of a cancellation due to bad weather or other conditions, deposits are fully refundable or can be applied toward a new date based upon availability.
** 50% deposit of the total rate is required to book and reserve your charter date.
**All deposits are applied to the cost of the the chosen charter rate.
Gratuity
- Manditory gratuity of at least 20% is required to be given to the mate or captain working on the boat at the end of the charter. This is the industry standard.
Disclaimers
- Trips may be cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, or any reason that affects the safety of the vessel and the guests on board.
- Federal illegal drugs are prohibited on board the Ashley Victoria. ***Please note: Laws are different in Federal waters than they are in certain States***
- Hard Liquor is prohibited.
- Customer is responsible for replacement or repair of lost or damaged equipment due to negligence.
- All commercial sized tunas that are caught on a charter and prepared for market are property of Hooked On Fish Charters, but you are the angler so there will be many opportunities to take photos with the commercial sized tuna. We also offer a 10% return trip discount on a charter where we catch a commercial sized tuna.
- Finally, the targeting of fish is dependent on availability, season and Federal or State regulations. Hooked On Fish Charters believes in and supports sustainability and conservation. We follow all Federal and State guidelines.
